Difficulties of database development and construction in China are discussed.The experience of Wanfang Data Corp.on “Orientating to Market Demand,Developing and Commercializing Chinese Database Products” is introduced in detail.The Importance of the co construction of databases and making them avaliable through multi channels is emphasized in particular.
