This paper attests that panel data can provide more information, less multicollinearity, more freedom degree and more efficiency from principles, methods, examples in information resource fields. Adopting panel data of the 31 provinces in China, this paper assesses the contribution of capital, labor and information resource to economic growth, among which the elasticity of labor versus output is the highest which is followed by capital elasticity, while the elasticity of information resource is the lowest of the three.
