摘要 采用比较分析的方法对目前国际领域电子文件两大主流封装方法——VEO和METS封装方法进行研究,发现其优势与不足,提出采用METS代替VEO作为我国电子文件封装方法或是作为VEO封装方法的补充,以完善我国电子文件封装策略,推动和促进我国数字档案馆等建设实践的发展。

Abstract:The paper conducts a comparative research on two international mainstream metadata packaging methods nowadays—VEO and METS in order to discover their advantages and disadvantages. It also suggests using METS as a replacement or complement of VEO as electronic records packaging method in our country to improve our electronic records packaging strategy, propelling and advancing the practice such as digital archives.
