Abstract The paper describes how to adjust some commands and parameters included in CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT files for running the device communication software,and how to solve some problems while using CD ROM retriveal systems (for HITACHI drives).The two files for other CD-ROM drives are also presented.
