Content-based Image Retrieval Techniques and Systems

Abstract  

With a brief analysis on the problems of traditional image retrieval, the paper describes the principles and processes of the emerging content-based image retrieval techniques, illustrated by examples such as QBIC, Image Rover, VisualSeek, and WebSeek.
