Based on analysing an infringement case about homepage design, this paper expounds the forms and contents of homepage design and the practical meanings for its intellectual property protection, and discusses the legal protective patterns for homepage design. It also emphasizes the importance of Copyright Law for protecting the homepage design, and puts forward some constructive proposals for amending Copyright Law in the face of network environment.
