Comparison Study of Chemical Structure Information Linear Notations

Abstract  

There are four method of chemical structure information linear notations in common use: IUPAC chemical notation、wiswesser line-formula chemical notation、replacement-nodal-subtractive nomenclature and code、and simplified molecular input line entry system. A comparison study of the four linear notations was conducted here. Thus put forward characteristics of an ideal linear notation.
