Research on Interface Technology Between Web and Database

Abstract  

The combination between Web and Database is the main direction of current development of Web technology and Database technology. This paper by analyzing the structure of B/S (Browser/Server), gives research and analysis on several interface technologies which are somehow prevalent currently. These technologies include: CGI (Common Gateway Interface), Web API (Application Programming Interface), JDBC (Java DataBase Connection) and ASP (Active Server Pages).
