Database Technology and the Information Organization in Digital Library

Abstract  

It is seven years since the concept of digital library was put forward in 1993. During this time, many countries have done a lot of research and explorations about the construction of digital library which has greatly promoted the resource sharing among the whole world. In order to meet the new research tendency, this paper starts with the relationship between database technology and digital library, and discusses how to apply database technology in digital library to organize the information resouces.
