Thesaurus-based Approach to Build Domain Ontology

Abstract  

The paper discusses the differences and relationships between thesaurus and domain ontology, and the advantages of the approach to build domain ontology from the base of thesaurus. It introduces the tools in brief, then puts forward a thesaurus-based methodology to build domain ontology and details all parts of it.
