A Critical Analysis of the Standard for Statistics of the Use of Electronic Service Attached to ISO2789:2003(E)

Abstract  

With the development of electronic information resource, the use of electronic service in the library has been rapidly increasing. In order to regulate the measurement of the use of electronic service, International Organization for Standardization attaches the statistics of the use of electronic service to ISO2789:2003(E). This paper mainly offers a critical analysis of the standard for statistics of the use of electronic service, intending to provide a reference for domestic libraries in establishing standard for statistics of the use of electronic service.
