Lexical Knowledge Discovery for Information Retrieval

Abstract  

This paper introduces the problem of lexical knowledge discovery for information retrieval and provides the frame of lexical knowledge discovery. The authors pose the method of words’ definition extraction, synonym recognition, relevance words recognition, mutually exclusive words recognition. The work plays an important role for the semantic search.
