Research and Practice for Web Searching Technology with XQuery

Abstract  

This paper proposes a new approache based on XQuery language for implementing Web applications and Web searching. The XQuery scripts are compiled into server-side executable servlets by Qexo toolkit on an XML backend server. The servlets can process requests for Web searching, as well as generate dynamic HTML pages and respond clients.
