Evaluation of Overseas Computer-aided Thesaurus Construction Software

Abstract  

Taking Term Tree 2000, MultiTes Pro 2007 and WebChoir TCS-10 for example, this paper investigates their configurations relating with four aspects such as thesaurus input and output, term disposal and control, term relationship disposal and control, thesaurus retrieval and display. Characteristics and drawbacks of the softwares are summarized and reasonable recommendations are proposed.
