Abstract This paper introduces the detailed searching course of ChinaInfo system on Internet. Then it makes a comparison between two methods of searching in ChinaInfo system and Wan Fang CD-ROM database, which shows that they have different features each in searching functions. This paper provides some proposals for ChinInfo system on Internet.
