Z39.50 Client-Side Implementation Based on Web

Abstract  

As a protocol for network information retrieval, Z39.50 provides Internet services with a standard way, and plays many roles in library automation systems. This paper analyses the Z39.50 Client and Server s current situations and introduces the implement of the four main services of Z39.50 Client soft based on Web, giving out solutions.
