Being a communication protocol for Internet,HTTP plays an important role for WWW service. This paper describes experience in the process of developing WWW server for DataTrans 1000 Integrated Library System. The WWW server developed by Beijing DataTrans Software Corp. Ltd is highly integrated with DataTrans 1000 database engine. The special protocol DTLP is also introduced.
