Abstract CORC (Cooperative Online Resource Catalog) is OCLC s next generation of cataloging service, providing an effective way to create descriptive records for electronic resources and options to assist librarians in providing their users with enhanced access to Web resources. The author introduces the CORC system and its cataloging utility, main features, databases, and other options. Based on the author s experience of using CORC in the United States, the author provides suggestions for improving the sharing of cooperatively cataloged Web resources in China
