Construction of Special Topic Database for Online Information

Abstract  

Because searching information is so difficult on Internet, the construction of special topic database for online information is an important part in the course of digital library construction. The peculiarities of online information are summarized. The existing service modes based on online information are analyzed and estimated. The necessity of special topic database construction for online information is argued. In the main part of this paper, the way and methods of special topic database construction for online information are discussed as the emphasis.
