This paper studies complicated problem on changed title of western language periodical in USMARC. Based on comparing succession entry principle with latest entry principle, this article probed into in particular the methods of cataloging about changed title of western language periodical on succession entry principle and put forward the measure of improvement about cataloging on some shortcoming of succession entry principle.
