Abstract We use the theory of Swanson’s noninterative literature-based knowledge discovery to identify the potential opportunities for collaboration between two organizations. The results are compared with the hot points found by co-word analysis. The paper is to approve whether Swanson’s theory can be used to find the collaboration opportunities of two organizations and the results indicate that this method fits it well.
