KVM-over-IP Technology and Its Application on Remote Control and Administering in Central Computer Room in Libraries

Abstract  

Regarding the present situation on managing actuality of computer and networking center room in academic and university Libraries, KVMoverIP technology is adopted, and the solution of a remote monitoring and administering system based on KVMoverIP in central computer room of libraries is proposed. A successful case of using KVMoverIP technology in the Xi'an Jiaotong University Library is presented.
