Development of Media-based Document Delivery System for Library Service

Abstract  

This paper aims at improving media-based document delivery service efficiency. A Web-based document delivery system is developed on the platform of ASP. The system based on the reality of document delivery service in our library implements automation for both user and administrator. User’s functions include form submission, form result inquiry and download and user’s password change. while the administrator performed by responsible library staff, include the original text requiring for disposal, account information management and data inquiry. The application results show that the implemented system can effectively improve the delivery service efficiency in the library.
