Multilingual and Multidatabases Search System on Chinese Herbal Drug

Abstract  

Since the Internet grows up and develops, there are more and more network resources and many opened databases appear on it.  In order to let the users to use network resources better,the first search engine was presented to the public.  As we know, the search engine can search all of the Webpage in Internet, but it can not search into different databases.  However the later is paid close attention increasingly by Information Technology specialists.  On the other hand, there are should be many different native languages because of the all over the world users.  So it is necessary to be able to search in different languages.  In this paper, the authors described a way to realize to search in different languages and in different databases, and created the multilingual and multidatabases search system based on Chinese Herbal Drug information.  And in this system, the URL commands are used to search and link to different style databases.  It is a simple and really multilingual and multi databases search system.
