Agent Pattern Realizing a Model of Portal Information Service in Digital Library

Abstract  

Firstly,two concepts--customized information service and agent pattern are defined after the necessity analysis for portal information demands since the digitalizing of library. Then a model using agent pattern is built up to offer the portal information services from digital library. After the functional description of the model,some challenge and potential are put out.
