Resampling and Recovery of Digital Color Images

Abstract  

Non uniform re sampling and recovery of digital color images stored in BMP format are discussed in the paper. In the re sampling, digital color image are equivalently segmented and then different re sampling frequency, which is automatically determined by using Discrete fast Fourier transform(FFT), is used according to frequency characteristic of each sub region and each color. Experiments and analyses show that recovery quantity and quality is affected by re sampling frequency, energy error, sub-region size, etc.Conclusions drawn from comparing the effects are useful to selection of some parameters. The proposed methods and procedures are not only effective to digital colour image signalst, it is useful to digital videos also.
