Review on Library Data Storage System Construction and NAS and SAN Application

Abstract  

Library data storage infrastructure construction is an important part of digital library development. So libraries should select an advanced, reliable and high performance storage solution. Now the RAID is the leading technology in the area of data storage. But with the increase of the amount of data and the amount of visiting, the storage technology that can make full use of storage facilities, with high performance and high extensibility is needed. So NSA and SAN emerged. These two storage technologies that can make full use of storage facilities, with high performance and high extensibility is needed. So NSA and SAN emerged. These two storage technologies are suitable for library’s mass storage.
