The Function and Compare of Retrieval Systems for Database on Web

Database on Web has become most important part of digital library resource. When librarian order the Web database, one database usually has several retrieval systems to choose. They should make the choice depend on the interface and function of retrieval system. This paper compares four retrieval systems for database on Web. The four retrieval systems are Ovid retrieval system, IDS 6 0 for CSA Database, WebSPIRS4 3 and Web of Science ver.4.3.2.
