Research on Mechanism and Influence of the Mode Transform of the YearDistribution Cited Papers

Abstract  

The transformed mode of the distribution of years cited papers at the end of the last decade has been discovered based on the observation and analysis a case of journal of the China society for scientific and technical information in this paper and then the reasons of the mode transform had been discussed. The transformed mode of the year distribution shows that the utilization of published papers has been greatly speedup and it might influence some indexes of the bibliometrics such as Price' index and so on.
