The journal catalog reporting service conducted in our institute is first introduced here. To manage journal catalog information acquired from the Internet, we realize the automatization of catalog editing by making use of the Visual C++ programming language. In this way, computers will automatically manage most of the mechanical editing and typesetting work handled manually before. Reports of journal catalogs provided for users are thus concise, clear and easy for reading and inquiring. Not only is the designing thought introduced here, the realizing method and specific using of each function of the system are also discussed.
