An Innovative Reader-initiated ILL Model for Printed Books |

Abstract This paper introduces an innovative reader-initiated ILL model for printed books among seven major academic university libraries in the United States, known as Borrow Direct, which makes loans within four days and reduces the cost to less than $10 per transaction.
