The Development Experiment of PowerBuilder Technology in the Retrieval System  Based on MEDLINE Database

Abstract  

The design thought,the functions and how PB be applied in its implementation of medical retrieval system are introduced in this paper .This system extend the function of MDLINE ,and it’s very helpful for teachers and scientific researchers to built their own medical resources database on the basis of what they have already obtained in MEDLINE. Meanwhile, this experiment is also a favorable try in solving a long puzzled problem in medical document retrieval education.
