The Building and Serving of Chinese Rubbings Resource Pool

Abstract  

The Chinese rubbing is an important repository of ancient books Digital library for National Library of China. This paper mainly introduces the goal, key technologies and applications of the Chinese rubbing repository at National Library of China. Under the guidance of standard specification, the metadata system, object data system and the application system are introduced. So far, more than 16000 pieces of ancient Chinese rubbings has been added into the repositories.
