Research and Implementation of the Distributed Searches and Retrieval Technology of Digital Library

This paper introduces mutil-layer structure, JMS model, then expatiates the design idea, retrieval process, functional interfaces and some difficulties of union search system. The union search system uses design pattern of meta-search engine for reference, and uses JMS publish & subscribe model to implement synchronously and high efficiency retrieval.
