Key Demand of Digital Library Portal Design——A Case Study of Peking University Library Portal Design

This paper focuses on academic library portal services positioning, functional elements, and service chain design and how to writing demand. In the case of Peking University digital library portal, design ideas and methods are introduced on the digital library portal service chain, knowledge navigation, user authentication and federated search. Besides, it introduces Peking University digital library portal implementation.
