Metadata Design and Encoding of Electronic Reserves

This paper introduces the electronic reserves system briefly, and analyzes the characteristic of electronic reserves, then implements the design and encoding of metadata of electronic reserves system,using DC education to create simple object and METS to create complex object. Based on OMI-PMH, this system links to academic reserves management and service system of CALIS.
