| Research and Comparison Based on Open Source Web Content Management System |

Abstract This paper discusses basic conceptions of content management, analyszes type and functions of Web CMSs.The paper also introduces and compares several open source Web CMSs, and gives some pieces of advice on how to select a suitable CMS.
