| The Integration Design and Innovative Application of Metadata Standard for Multimedia Resources |

Abstract Based on the case of metadata standard for multimedia resources in the Peking University Library, the paper illustrates the characteristic of multimedia resources and the metadata standard. The integration design idea, innovative application and achievements are also introduced, and then some solutions to the problems in process of design and application are discussed.
