The Analysis of Research Trend in Library and Information Science Based on Hotspot Recognition of Timing Keywords (2000-2009)

Abstract  This paper puts forward the definitions of common popular research hotspot and latent significant research hotspot based on the collected journal articles in library and information science which are above 0.2 millions from the year 2000 to 2009. And combined with hotspot recognition method of timing keywords, 6 analysis methods of research trends are discussed including positive trends and negative trends in detail. Then this paper gives the recognition algorithm and the query parameter thresholds.
