The Comparison and Analysis of the Thesaurus, Taxonomy and Ontology

Abstract  

In the network information age, it is a prominent problem to organize and retrieve information resources effectively. Thesaurus, taxonomy and Ontology are of great value to it. This article introduces the advantage and key technique barrier of Ontology by comparing and analyzing the three methods, and applies information for the use of Ontology in the semantic retrieval.
