A Study of Indexing Mechanism in XML Schema with Holistic Constraint-preserving Transformation

This paper deeply studies  a series of rules and the algorithm of transformation from relational schema to XML Schema and makes supplement and perfection to its shortage.According to the prime problem of invalidity of inquiring in XML schema after transformation,it proposes the method of indexing in transformation.The application is to illustrate how to receive the information of relational struction and enhance the efficiency of inquiring  through the index.
