RDF Site Summary (RSS) is lightweight,multipurpose, extensible metadata description and syndication format. Because of its features of simplicity, standardization, generalization and easy to use, more and more high-quality scientific websites choose to use RSS to publish their new information. The RSS-based Science and Technology Information Syndication System is a system aiming at syndicate the high-quality RSS information published by many scientific websites in RSS format. It can help librarians gather the latest science and technology information from websites and help them to trace, to monitor, to discover and to analyze the progress of sciences.
