Research on Full Text Retrieval System for OA Resource Based on Lucene

The paper presents the current status of full text retrieval system of the Open Access(OA) resources and analyzes the open source library Lucene of full text retrieval engine. Then it proposes and implements the method of full text retrieval based on Lucene of OA resources. At last,it also compares the system with Google Desktop search engine in speed and quality. The results of test show that the system is a bit slower than the Google Desktop, and the precision rate is higher than that of Google Desktop. So the full text retrieval system based on Lucene can fully meet the needs of users.
