Typing HyperLink Based on Structure Semantics on Web Pages

Abstract  

As an information buildup manner, hyperlink has become more and more important than before. But it is only used on document nonlinear buildup, hyperlink has no semantics itself. So it is important to type hyperlink based on semantics first. Under such circumstances, this paper first analyzes the former works about hyperlink definitions and types, and then puts forward a method of typing hyperlink, which is based on structure semantics on Web pages. Finally we discuss its applications on information retrieval.
