A 2-tuple Linguistic Model of Information Retrieval

Abstract  

This paper proposes, a 2-tuple linguistic model of information retrieval. The model has three components: the documents, the query and the retrieval mechanism. With respect to other information retrieval model based on precise retrieval, this model can give users more flexibility when they retrieve their desired documents.
