A Tentative Approach to Information-Storage Strategies of Digital Library

Abstract  

This paper primarily made an introductory illustration for the basic concepts of information- storage and techniques for disk storing, in particular the technique of RAID in application. After an overall examination of the main information-storage system in use presently and their relevant advantages and disadvantages, the author finally settled on a discussion of the online-information-storage framework, and ambitiously provided a blueprint of its full-range application in the development of digital libraries.
