An Ontology-Based Approach to Construct a Knowledge Base about Rare Books

Based on the cataloging rules for metadata of rare books , this paper proposes a solution of Ontology-based knowledge base for rare books. Then, describes the whole framework and gives an implementation in prototype with the semantic Web.
