Study and Application of Event Mechanism for DSpace in the Extended Development

Abstract  It is very important to achieve compatibility between version upgrade and localization function in the extended development of open source software. This paper proposes to use DSpace core API as the extended development method for the construction of institutional repository of Tsinghua University based on DSpace, and this solution realizes the compatibility between mainstream version upgrade and localization extended function of DSpace effectively.
