Brief Analysis on Application of the Heterogeneous Cluster Operating System in the  Digital Library

 This paper introduces the trends of the cluster technology; and discusses the Fire Phoenix Cluster Operating System with the application in digital library construction. Besides, describes how to use the heterogeneous cluster operating system to construct cluster management framework in digital library, and offers the virtual platform for grid computing, together with the search engine for large datasets.
