Study of the Application of Ontology in Natural  Language Information Retrieval

Abstract  

This article introduces the Ontology in retrieval systems on basis of analyzing Natural Language Information Retrieval (NLIR). In NLIR, Ontology can improve the quality of indexing and user interface, and help to solve the problems in NLIR as well. Finally, it addresses further problems to be dealt with of Ontology in retrieval systems.
